Ik moest wel. Want ik voelde niets. Nou ja niets…. dat is niet waar. Als ik heel extreme dingen deed (downhill skateboarden, windsurfen met storm, achterna gezeten door politie) dan voelde ik me even levendig, even vol. Tot mijn 25ste heb ik me met een grote glimlach volgegeten aan het leven. Ik was kapitein op klassieke zeiljachten die ik de Atlantische oceaan over voer. Ik was innovatie consultant op de Zuidas en bij grote corporates. Ik starte een fruitijsjes bedrijf. Geld stroomde binnen en aan de buitenkant leek alles goed. Maar van binnen voelde ik me leger en leger. Toen kwam een burnout. Het leven zei ho. En daar begon de tocht naar binnen. Het begon met yoga en meditatie maar ergens miste ik daar de levendigheid, de seksualiteit en de uitnodiging tot zelfexpressie. Ik ging op zoek naar een spiritueel pad die mijn volte omarmde. Niet zei “doe maar even niet” maar zei “Kom maar, ik wil je helemaal zien”. Dat pad is voor mij tantra. Tantra heeft me geleerd mijn lichaam te openen. Meer te voelen.
